BMR Floor Grinding Robot 850S
The BMR Floor Grinding Robot 850S is the compact 850-series autonomous concrete grinding robot from BrightMaster Robotics. It is designed for large-area floor preparation where contractors already use external dust extraction and want the lighter, shorter model in the 850 platform. The 850S removes surface laitance from concrete and prepares epoxy floors, sealed hardener floors, emery sealed hardener floors, epoxy terrazzo, inorganic terrazzo and terrazzo floors in parking garages, factory workshops, warehouses, laboratories, sports venues and commercial buildings.
The robot uses LiDAR scanning to identify walls, columns and other site structures, then performs intelligent path planning, real-time positioning, autonomous navigation and fully automatic grinding operations. Its 850 ± 50 mm working width, 18.5 kW grinding power and 0-2000 rpm planetary disc help flooring contractors standardize surface preparation over large project areas while reducing manual pushing, vibration exposure and grinding inconsistency.
850S model overview
The 850S is the lighter model in the BMR floor grinding robot line. It weighs 627 kg and measures 1520 x 866 x 1204 mm, making it shorter and more maneuverable than the 850M. It shares the same 850 mm class grinding width, 18.5 kW grinding power, 48 V / 30 Ah traction battery, 9 km operating range, 0.5 m/s travel speed, 15 degree climbing capability and 5 cm positioning accuracy. The key distinction is dust handling: the 850S is intended for sites using external extraction rather than an onboard dust collection unit.

850S vs 850M
Choose the 850S when the project already has a compatible external extraction setup and a compact footprint is preferred. Choose the 850M when the robot needs integrated 2.4 kW dust collection onboard. Both models share the same core autonomous navigation and 850 mm class grinding platform.
